A programme of orchestral, vocal and organ works by English composers - Elgar's March from Grania and Diamid, Vaughan Williams' Wenlock Edge, SS Wesley's Andante in F and Ivor Gurney's War Elegy.
The Vaughan Williams is the first commercial recording of this work, dating from 1917, the famous tenor Gervase Elwes (who sang in the premiere), accompanied by FB Kiddle (his favoured pianist) and the London String Quartet.
